WAY TO GO CODY

Over the weekend we went back up to Sundance to Cody’s last race of the year. Bert’s parents went with us along with my Brother Brady and his Son Kaiden and Bailee’s friend Tasha. We were able to ride the ski lift to the top and back down. That way we could see most of the trail Cody would ride. Which is not really a trial more like drop offs. It was such a beautiful day with the colors of the leaves changing and being in the fresh mountain air.
Cody did really well. He raced two times with out any wrecks which is really good (no hospital bills this time). He races in the sports men division and is sponsored by Parks Sports. He placed third. At the end of the day they announced the State Championship for the year and Cody placed Second in the state of Utah. Which is really good because he missed three races when he went to Alaska.
Way to go Cody. We are so proud of you.

Labor day weekend

For Labor day weekend we went to our condo in Midway. Friday night we just relaxed and went swimming. Bailee took a friend Tasha. On Saturday we got up bright and early to go eat Breakfast at Swiss days and then we walked around the booths. This is a tradition that we have been doing for a few years. We really look forward to it every year. It's the last big Summer bang before fall hits. Saturday afternoon we went to Park City to spend the day with all of my Family. We love to have fish and chips at the brewery on main street. Brady, shanda & kids joined us along with Hagen and his friend Steve. Then we went and rode the Alpine slide. The kids really enjoy riding it. On Monday we went to Sundance to see Cody ride in his last down Hill mountain biking race of the year. We all arrived to cheer him on. Only to have it rained out and have it rescheduled for this Saturday September 6Th. If anyone would like to come and watch it starts at 9:00am. It should be really nice weather. Cody would love to see all the Family come and cheer him on.

I hate changes

A lot has changed in our house the last couple of weeks. First Hagen has moved out with four of his friends to a five bedroom house in Orem. He has started a new job at Bank of American Fork in Orem. He will start school on the 27Th and he will be turning 20 on the same day. Seems like I was just sending him to kindergarten.
Cody started school today at the new Salem High School. He is a senior and will be the first class to graduate from the new school. He is keeping very busy with work and riding his bike. He is second in his class for down hill mountain biking and is enjoying every minute of it. He has his last race of the year on Labor day up Sundance.
Bailee started school on Monday at American Leadership Academy. She is in the seventh grade but has all her class and locker in the High School. The first day was really hard on me. I took her to school that day and tried to help her go in but she said she could go on her own. Pretty hard watching your seventh grader go in the High School. She now rides the bus to School.

Girls Trip

Bailee and I went on a girls trip when the boys went to Alaska. We went to Saint George and spent the night. The next day we went to see High School Musical at the Tuacahn and then went on to Las Vegas to see Phantom of the opera and Mystere by Cirque Du Soleil. we stayed in Vegas for two night and then went back to Saint George. We went and seen the musical Sound of music at the tuachan. We had such a great time. It was really fun to spend it with just Bailee.

Alaska

Bert and the boys went on a trip to Alaska for two weeks in July. They went with Bert's Brother Ray and his two boys and Bert's Parents. They had a great time
